I’m Heather Shaddox, a NSF Postdoctoral Fellow at UC Berkeley with Prof. Roland Bürgmann. I did my PhD in the UC Santa Cruz Seismology Lab with Prof Susan Schwartz and Prof. Emily Brodsky. I am interested in using seismology as a tool to detect ubiquitous yet enigmatic processes spanning the lithosphere (transient aseismic slip) to the hydrosphere (oceanic internal gravity waves). I am particularly interested in offshore processes that require ocean-bottom instrumentation.
